Banners – Joleen – Insurance is holding us up – Max and David Tagieff found out that it will cost the Ballpark Neighborhood Association an additional $900 to the policy – need to discuss at the board meeting. We only approved $2000 for the banners not the additional insurance.
Neighborhood Map – Amy – The update - Tim Dunn and I will be meeting next week so that I can give him feedback that the PR group has given to me.
BPN website Map– did everyone receive Trish’s email/attachment? – not everyone – Joleen will have printed color copies for the Board Meeting on August 18.
Web Site – Max Turner – the new updated look/website is almost ready to go – looks more modern and cleaner. As soon as the launch date is confirmed we will let everyone know. Dave Moore/Max Turner – Max will add a link on the website to the Rockies and to their special events page.
Press Releases – sent out
1. Monkey Bean
2. DenverBeer Festival
Also Joleen will send out to the general membership email list a call for more press releases. And Dave will send info about tours for Coors Field.
Brochure – status – changing it to a newsletter - Amy - Trish wrote up a little something on the website and we all agreed another feature story could be focused on the Monkey Bean Coffee company - the owners are residents of Silver State lofts and run the business together. Max T. will add a link to feature story. Other stories/topics? Ballpark Lofts – Joleen, Samaritan House – Lindsey, Step 13 – Judy
Events Calendar – Any events to “log-in” on the event sheet – Have been sending them to Trish (Max) and Johnny.
“AUTUMN FEST” – on hold for time being
Welcome Basket – see “New Items”
Coupon Checkbook Status – see “New Items”
New Items
Mary - Replacing the coupon checkbook and welcome basket – 16 oz beer glasses – 3 logos on them – one color. Ron has a vendor we can use and will reduce the cost. Logos on glasses - Breckenridge Brewery, Blake Street Tavern and Ballpark Neighborhood. Inside the glasses will have local merchant coupons – Suggestions – Rockies – 10% off in the merchandise store; Monkey Bean; Blake Street Tavern, Flying Dog (are they underwriting coasters). Mary will find out who would like to come on board with coupons. We all agreed to move quickly on this and get this finished and out to the neighborhood.
Joleen – suggested we do a Police Appreciation Day – great for the neighborhood, DPD and press opportunity. Suggestion to add the firemen as well. Dave Moore will get a contact for the Fire Chief. Joleen will contact Commander Dilley – possible date – October 16th – Incorporate the last day of Larimer Street Market and the Appreciation Day. Could have a chili cook-off between the Fireman and Police Officers!
Ron – Having t-shirts made with Breckenridge Brewery and Flying Dog beers – connect the dots – and the final result is a beer glass. Proceeds from Ron will go to the Ballpark Neighborhood Association.
Ron – From October 1 – April 1 Breckenridge Brewery is setting up a poker night on Thursday’s and a donation will go to the BPNA.
Possible to setup a tour of Coors Field for the October General Membership meeting?
Could send out a solicitation letter to the General Membership for donations to the Ballpark –
