Neighborhood Mixer

Successes, thoughts, ideas, changes:

IT WAS A GREAT SUCCESS

Prizes – email winners and let them know they have 30 days to pickup at Breckenridge Brewery
Over 125 in attendance for our first mixer
Great night for Breckenridge Brewery – people stayed and had dinner and/or drinks
Mixers shouldn’t be in the same month as General membership meetings – on the calendar we have the July baseball game. It is on the 1st week of July with General Membership 2 weeks after – should work
Next Mixer – April 7 – will ask + Gallery if they would like to host
- Members are free with one guest
- Non-Members - $5 or free with paid membership (is $5 too low)
- RSVP
- Reminder to vendors – confirmation a day before event and they need to be at the mixer at least ½ hour prior and stay through the event to promote their businesses.
- Check-off list on who received drink tokens
- Residential lofts only
- Purpose behind mixer – Networking and new memberships
- ID at door – hand stamp?
July Mixer – Rockies game – Brian will look into a good date for us – possible club level tickets with good discount on tickets. Rockies can even send out the evite.

Events

Mixers (April, July, October)
McQuick Parade – March 17th – Noon - neighborhood invited to view the parade and join for food and drink in the McClain Finlon parking lot (ends at 1pm). Last year we had national TV/radio and print coverage.
Open Doors Denver –April 16 - 17th – Coors Field and McClain Finlon have been invited by the Mayor to participate in Denver’s first annual weekend long event that celebrates our city’s architecture, urban design and interior spaces. Goal to enable the public to view buildings from the inside that are not ordinarily or are only partially open to the public. Coors and McClain Finlon will be participating Saturday April 16 from 10 – 3pm.
Weekend before opening day – Barbecue – welcome baseball - wakeup summer party
Walking Tours – need to start planning
1st Fridays – need to work on a neighborhood plan and help promote the art galleries
Autumn Fest – tie in during Denver Beer Fest?

Membership Drive

Ron and Trish will work on spreadsheet – Need to send out letter and renewal paperwork as soon as possible. Everyone will receive a renewal notice in February.
