PR COMMITTEE: MIXERS, NEWSLETTER, BANNERS, MAP AND DECALS (MARY,
JOLEEN & AMY) Joleen reported number one priority for the committee
is membership renewal and new memberships. Ron P. and Trish
Bonnell
are sending out renewal forms and a spreadsheet has been created
to
maintain the membership list.
1. Next BPNA Mixer is April 7th at + Gallery 2350 Lawrence
Street
with a few changes – no door prizes, members are free and non-members
and guests are $5. Also making sure that future mixers are
not
scheduled close to general membership board meetings.
2. Banners – there are no permit fees, but a $100 per banner
bond
that must be submitted to the city prior to hanging.
Also a traffic
plan must be submitted prior to putting up the banners.
The board
decided to table project at this time.
3. Map – no word yet as to when the final map will be ready.
4. Decals – Ron P printed off some vinyl examples from his
printer.
Ron P requested that a minimum of one board member and maximum
of 2
board members be on committees. Presently we have 6 board
members on
the PR Committee. Ron would like to chair the Membership
Committee.
Also we should think or create a Zoning Committee, License
Committee,
and Restaurant Committee.
